VR Experience (Precipice)
I want to introduce You to the amazing serial art project “Precipice”, which was presented on a Nuit Blanche exhibition in September 2018 (Seneca’s Ultimate Remix). It consists of a cartoon, live performance, painting, photography, art sculpting with digital visual effects, made by using programming; and VR experience. The inspiration for creativity was a song, written by a talented musician Erica Procunier. She made an incredible composition, which causes strong vibes in mind. Our VR-guru professor and Art Director Christopher Lewis decided to help students to diversify the project with VR experience by creating visual effects flowing with the music. And all this in a different reality). I am personally proud of this project. It was also my pleasure to help people to explore the experience during the exhibition. This specific project is a VR experience, which was done by 6 students (me included) under the direction of digital technical developing expert Christopher Lewis. It is an algorithmic-based project, so the whole experience and actions follow the music. The project consists of 3 scenes: nature, the industry, and the journey. You can draw your own world with 2 controllers by painting curve lines and flowers. It is a lifetime project. The funniest moments for everyone is to be on top of the world above buildings. It was so cool to observe how children experience VR. Explore yourself and have fun!
